It sounds stupid and chances ar it is but I think it would be great if Nintendo bought Sega. The Sega Dreamcast in my eyes was not a sensational success but they make superb arcade games with Namco etc. I think that Nintendo should buy Sega, elimenating them from competition, allowing them to get all Sega's games etc and cornering the arcade market. Chances are my plans are flaud in so many ways but I can't see it ;D

nintendo couldn't afford sega , they would be too expensive , if nintendo made a huge mistake and did something stupid , then they wouldn't have as much money to fall back on (not that it would happen) then they may have to do a sega or something. In the long run it's not worth it , alot of sega games are coming to GC anyway, it would make them exclusives , but it's not nessesary.

Sega will stay an independant games company, that way the Xbox and GC will get a fair chare of Sega Games.

Strangly enough, Microsoft already made an offer to buy out Sega and Nintendo at some point. They both answered 'NO', so I think we'd see the same reaction if ninty themselves put an offer in for sega.

But every few seconds you'd hear Mario calling after Sonic between heavy breathing saying "hey-a Sonic! Wait fer me Ok-a" Also you'd need some crazy intregation story etc.

Sega is now made up of many semi-independant comapanies, if Nintendo wanted to buy say Sonic Team (not that they need to) Sega would have to be selling them first, to buy the whole collection of companies you would have to have EVERY companies agreement to make the sale. Thus making the sale too complicated to worry about when you are already getting games.
