Ok so wat day does turok actually come out ive read the 6th but special reserve says it comes out at the end of september!! so someone in the know wat day does it actually come out?

oh and smash brothers rules roy is the best and the x box can house a small family of porgs with a rost of chickens.

so someone please tell me when it comes out!!!!

Well I haven't seen the E3 footage of Turok Evolution from all three formats - but the footage on the G-force DVD (with one of the issues a couple months ago) looked brilliant!

Again, this isn't a comparison with anything else - just an opinion on what I saw.

That was the same DVD that featured the interview with the creator if I can remember correctly.

I seem to remember reading in CUBE magazine that the GC version looked terrible in comparison to the polished look of the X Box version. This opinion was based on how the game looked at E3, so a later release may be because the GC version was too far behind in production. The Cube team did have some doubt over how Acclaim could have the game looking good enough in time for the release.

Oh and Edgy is completley right all games looks like a game from the lowest speced console the PS2.

If it comes out on the 27th then it will fear Timesplitters 2.

WRONG!

As the creator of the games said himself, all three games are being made exactly the same. The only differences in the games will be due to the performance of the consoles themselves.

Well the yanks are buying it now they've got it a few days early. Their release date was meant to be Sunday 1st. As far as I know the GC version is out with the xbox and ps2 versions. There was talk of gamecube media manufacturing having a backlogue but I reckon europe should get it with the others so if you've ordered it you should be getting your mitts on it for next weekend.

Why do you all worry about release dates?
Esoecially ones in 2003 and that, because, in the end, you can't change them, and it only makes you want the game more.
I understand if you want to know if you have to save up loads of money, and you want to know how long you've got before you need to spend it, but just sit toght until the game is in the shops.
It's the same with import games, why can't you wait a month to play PAL games? Why do you have to have them right now, this very instant? Just be patient.

I'm quietly confident that it'll appear on the 6th September. That way it'll coincide with the PS2 and Xbox release dates.

Also remember that release dates (especially Nintendo of Europe's ones) are always subject to change and can change no matter how soon to the supposed release date they are. I remember Jet Force Gemini was delayed under a week before it was due to be released, to come out two weeks later.

Also remember that more work has gone into the Xbox version with it's superb lighting effects. If less work has gone into the GameCube version, surely wouldn't it be able to be released at the same time as the superior Xbox title? (Graphically superior I mean).

I'd also be disappointed if Deinsteiber and his crew didn't show any signs of loyalty to the Company that Turok was exclusive to for around 6 years.
