*if you have not seen it, and are bothered about what happened skip this part*
Well after Janeway came from the future to help get enterprise home earlier, and then help devise a method to get voyager back home AND kill the Borg, I am curious. The Borg queen stated while she was falling apart, from what would be the Borg equivelent of Parkinson's, that if the Borg cube, or in this instance a sphere, caught voyager and blew it up, then the actions of the Janeway from the future would be erased.
Therefore if Janeway were to die at some time between the borg being destroyed and janeway reaching the age at which "She" killed the borg, then her actions would be erased and the borg would once again be alive.
Is this correct?

I don't know if anyone noticed, but in one of the recent 'Enterprise' episodes on BBC 2 a few weeks back, Dr. Flox used a hypospray. However it's quite a long time before Spock actually invents the hypospray...

stargate I agree less than good, one or two episodes were mildy entertaining, but mostly they aren't that good. The film starring kurt russell was much better. (IN MY OPINION)
As for star trek I suppose its a matter of taste, I just love sci-fi of all kinds, and I find some of the stories interesting.
BTW I have glasses like Jamjars, and I watch star trek in the dark, while occasionally rocking back and forth. ;)

Just peoples tastes I guess, I could say the same about something you like.
Football for example. Personally, I'd rather jam a rusty nail into my eye than watch football for 90 minutes.
I have watched one or two minutes of it and it bored me silly.
Same with Stargate.......

Agreed.
Next Gen comes VERY close though.

No it is not. The Borg have faced nanotoxins before, eventually adapting to them, thus not being completely destroyed when the future Captain Janeway infected the Borg.
Janeway's future-self being killed in the present wouldn't change the present because, although she came from the future to help Janeway, she did so in the present. Thus, what had already changed as soon as Janeway went back to the present, couldn't change back again unless something got changed in the past - which no one would ever know about anyway.
The proof that the Borg weren't destroyed lies in Star Trek First Contact. the Borg Queen uses the technology from future-Janeways shuttle to create a temporal-wormhole for the Borg to travel back in time to 21st Century earth in an attempt to prevent the Vulcans and the Humans ever meeting - First contact. Ofcourse the Enterprise-E travels back in time through the same rift and finally destroys the Borg Queen. However, at that moment in time, there were two Borg Queens. The one in the Delta quadrant that the future one was attempting to contact, and the one from the future trying to assimilate Earth. So when Data and Picard destroyed the Borg Queen, the Borg were still existant in the Delta Quadrant - until Picard joined back with his present that is.
Sorry, I'm one of Star Trek's greatest fans :)
Oh, Deep Space 9 is the best series to date :)
I've seen the episode twice, once on Sky One and again on BBC2 so I know what i'm talking about.
Best Trek:
TOS: Kirk, good, but the whole thing was rubbish for want of a better word.
TNG: Almost the same as TOS, just more advanced. Wolf 359 was one of the better bits, and it did get better as time went on.
DS9: Crap from the start, only thing good was the battles.
VOY: Great, lots of first contacts, battles, good plots and more, ok, did have bad bits, but much better than the above.
ENT: Ok, but i'm not impressed, it's a bit slow, and not enough battles(enter Romulans and Klingons), it only got good at the end of the first series, i won't spoil it, but lets just say Archer looks trapped and Enterprise is in a swarm. But it's the best so far.
I think VOY is by far the best, plus it's got a kick a*s ship, crew, plot, effects, CGI, Special Effects, and lots and lots more.
God bless NCC 74656.
P.S. New series of Enterprise out in November in U.S. Should be early next year here, SWEET.
