The front door was locked, no one was home. I tried the back door. Locked.

Around the back of the house I notice that one of the windows wasn't closed properly, it wasn't on it's latch.

It's just a tiny window, but after fetching a piece of garden furniture, I can pull it open. Once I pulled in open, I could get my hand in to open one of the latches on the large window. I couldn't reach the latch at the bottom though, so I looked around the garden. There was a large metal spoon sitting there, no doubt having been used for some gardening purpose. I picked this up, and reaching in through the little window I was able to pull the second latch out of position, and get the window open.

Seconds later I was in, I closed the window up quickly so no one would see that it had been open.

It only took 5 minutes, and I was in. Nothing broken, no signs of a break in.

It was my own house, after having locked my keys in, but it took me just a couple of minutes to find a way in. How long would it take a proffessional?

I'll be double checking all the windows next time I go out. I'll be buggered if I leave my keys inside again though.

Scary that. If you can do it in 5 minutes, how long would a pro take?

Paranoia provoking...
