They are all just money hungry industries, who don't care about customers, just money.
But they release brilliant consoles, and that’s what you should all think when it comes to choosing a console. Put it this way
If the Gamecube was made by a totally different company to Nintendo, would you but it? Or is it because of its brand logo that sells you the console?
It’s the same with sports clothes, No logo/brand name but it looks nice would you buy it?
If the 3 consoles were just named Gamecube, Xbox and PS2 instead of Nintendo Gamecube, Microsoft Xbox and Sony Playstation 2 would you buy it?
Its the brand logo that seems to sell, That’s why I hate Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony they sell their consoles with a massive
When you decided on buying the console of your choice, did you *first*
a) Want it because it was made by
Or
b) Because of the Games line up
That’s what people look at first, then the line up of games.
Money Hungry Industries demanding cash are all the companies want.
Nintendo aren’t brilliant with customer service, neither is Microsoft or Sony.
I don't know why I wrote this but hey.
Thanks for reading
Gamezfreak.
Nintendo are not brilliant in my opinion. Just the console is good. Not very good customer care either. No business EVER puts customers first.
Microsoft spent a long time desingning the xbox, same as Nintendo took a long time putting care into their console.
Anyway, sorry to break it to you people, but ALL businesses are money hungry. Some more than others, in that they will go further for money, but all companies want money. Sony and Microsoft both entered the videogame market because they saw it was a growing industry that had become huge, (I believe it's now outselling the film industry?) and knew they could make money from it. Nintendo entered the home console market after seeing their success with the game and watch titles and wanting to expand this further, in order to reap higher profits. Every company is money hungry, be it a video games developer, a bank, a record label (except a very few indie labels...), a film company, a high street store chain... all of them are in it for the money. You can't hate a company for wanting to make a profit, because that's the only way a company can survive in this world. We all have to make a profit by going to work and earning money from our jobs. Unless you're gonna adopt communism (meet SHEEPY behind the old sawing mill at 3pm, the password is 'baa'), then you just have to accept that all companies wish to make a profit.
hmm... that's about all I can remember I was gonna say... sure I was gonna say more, but can't remember what it was now...
Nintendo took a long time over their console, and made it the quality you can expect from them, along with their trademark games. Of course you look at the name first - but the launch line up isn't completely insignificant.
I bought a GameCube because that Nintendo are the best games developers in the world, and don't have a single poor game, and also with their backing from Rare, the GameCube is bound to have a promising future. I then looked at the launch line up - the best ever. If it was terrible, I would have waited. It wasn't though, and that's why I bought a GameCube.
Microsoft can't really capitalise on their brand name, as they haven't built a big enough name for themselves in gaming yet, and many people have said they're wary of the X-Box as it's untrustworthy. Nintendo put their name in front of the GameCube because they want to take credit for it, and people can be sure it has that seal of quality.
I don't hate Nintendo, I think they're one of the best companies in the world when it comes to customer care. People don't buy their products purely because of the name Nintendo, they buy them because they're brilliant products, and that's what Nintendo have a reputation for.

I don't own a Gamecube by the way, i am an Xbox and GBA owner.
Your not allowed to swear but many people do, and dont get banned or anything and no one says anything about it.
And some one was banned for copying the whole topic and writing 2 or 3 words while others do it and no one cares.
Both cases i have seen happen about 4 or 5 times this week.
Xbox and GC have by far more original games out (and coming out)
