I was in Game wondering around looking for some dreamcast bargains and I stumbled across what I would consider my best to date. A preowned Dreamcast console for £14.99. I could not beleive it. They where also selling preowned PS1 for £24.99, criminal. So a bought the thing and a copy of Quake III for £3.99. I gave it to my nephew who had just discovered Gradia II and was spending more time in my house than his own.

He has now vowed to drop his interset in the X-Box till Christmas 2003 as he has my collection of at least 30 DC games to get through.

He has seen the light. He is now pestering me for my Dreamkey 3 disc so that he can play PSO online.

1 Gamer converted just a few million to go.

Sadly, I was on the end of some pretty rough bartering, involving me giving up my tons of DC and PS1 games for a mere £60, when I was in desperate need of cash. I was had, in the most literal of literal senses. Anyway, top o' the morning to you, Luke! I'm not bitter...

Did you ever get any DC bargains James?

... by the way 'fishtobeking'..... I saw a second hand DC in my local Gamestation for £25 second hand. Not bad, considering their second hands PS1's were selling for £35!!!!!!!! I dont understand it, DC is blatently better than a PS1, yet the DC's second hand price was cheaper that the PS!! Anyway, back to ur question, you can get a second hand Dreamcast for about £30-40, and the games are roughly between £5-£20. Us DC fans are getting a pretty good deal.

That is one of my success stories.

I eventualy got my hands on a preowned copy of Starlancer form Amazon but had to pay £22. This is just a stunning game and well worth the £22 that I paid but I was informed 2 days after I bought it that it was in EB/Game for £6.99.

Some you win, some you lose but at these prices every DC owner is a WINNER.

Just done it again, went To GAME for a wonder as you do and their was at least 50 preowned DC games in the shelves. Just picked up Shenmue II for £6.97 and Unreal Tournament for £2.99. Also used my £2.50 discout voucher

The guy in the shop said that they had all this DC stuff lying in their stores that they hadn't got round to sorting till this morning. Apparently the stuff is going like hot cakes, people buying 5 games at a time.

If you are searching for gaems it might be a good idea just to ask at the counter, you never know they may have stuff just lying around waiting to get bought.

The problem that I am having is that I don't have PC at home and no-one seems to let me open an internet account over the phone. So at the moment I am having to go through BTclick.

I would appreciate it if someone could help me out here.
