I know the current selection of X-box titles (Halo, JSRF and DoA3 interest me the most) but what of the future games? On the Gamecube I know what game I'll be hoping to get in Christmas 2003, on the X-box I know of some game called Morrowind and the Halo sequel... what else is there? Why would I want them? What's so good about them? And what is Morrowind all about?
Come on persuade one of the forums largest Nintendo fans to get an X-box!

Out of a massive release list they are your most anticipated games?! Bah.
:-)
The games I'm MOST looking forward to (apart from Crazy Taxi:High Roller & about 30 others) are:
BLiNX
Project Ego
Both promise revolutionary gameplay.

The Xbox contains the greatest array of 3rd person and 1st person shooters over its 2 competitors, by this I don't mean that it has more coming out, I mean that the games are not only just releases the majority will be very special.
That release list sees the *MAJOR* games (sorry if I missed some out, but I think I have covered the majority of the top releases)which are going to appear on the Xbox before next christmas (unless delays see fit on games like Project Gotham Racing 2 and Halo 2). The ones I have put a star next to are the ones that I will defintley be picking up from Bill Gates hous... I mean anywhere I can get them (I will pay don't you worry). Although the list may seem big there aren't any of the ones that I have (*) that I won't be picking up (regardless of the very tight Gamespot scores), not only do those games appeal to me, but they are also highly anticpated by my friends and gaming sources around the net. Before anyone says "but Buffy will be crap", just read the reviews and you will see that this takes away the tradition of great TV programs or films turned into rubbish games, until I have play tested the game however I won't know for sure.
The major releases this year for the Xbox include the likes of Splinter Cell, the highly acclaimed and superb looking stealth em up which is going to be released this Novemeber on PC and Xbox, although PS2 version was announced production on that version hasn't even started yet. Shenmue 2 is by far (in my opinion) the greatest video-game ever created, you ask any Seag fan and the majority will agree with my comment, the game is even bigger than GTA3 and al lot better to play! Metal Gear Solid: Substance is another one of my highly anticipated games, although I completed the PS2 version 3 times the ability to play as Snake on the update for the whole of the game is definatley worth another £40. Ghost Recon took away the tradition of previous Tom Clancy games, the planning side of the missions was dumbed down to make the game more fun to play, so far advanced previews of the Xbox version have said that it betters the PC version in terms of graphics and it will also feature widely in the Xbox Live time-table.
For those of you that have played Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis on the PC will know that this game is truly one of the all time greats. The game takes place on an island during the Cold War and it features the most realistic playable behaviour and an incredable amount of attention to detail (no wonder the Army use it to train the soldiers). If like me you will be getting rigged up with Broadband connection soon then there Xbox Live will totally blow you away, a UK release hasn't been set yet but with the games on offer I can't wait to get my hands on this!
If you want to know anymore about the other games that I listed please just ask, I don't want to bore anyone with all the games so thats why I have just listed a few, but if you would liek to know anymore then I will be happy to help!
