So hopefully I'll be getting a brand spanking new X-box come Christmas and so I need to ask a question (or 2).

I know the current selection of X-box titles (Halo, JSRF and DoA3 interest me the most) but what of the future games? On the Gamecube I know what game I'll be hoping to get in Christmas 2003, on the X-box I know of some game called Morrowind and the Halo sequel... what else is there? Why would I want them? What's so good about them? And what is Morrowind all about?

Come on persuade one of the forums largest Nintendo fans to get an X-box!

The BM what? Sorry, but I have no interest in cars at all. Having liscensed cars isn't a selling point for me.

Urh, I hate those Oddworlds games.

200 circuits? that sounds like a bit too much..

Damagable Lisenced (spelling?) cars, what more do you want! The replays are mouth watering. The BMW Z3 has never looked so realistic (although its kinda crap and slow)!

The game gives a real sense of speed, the acheivment when you rack up some decent kudos with style.

If you have Oddworld Munches Oddysee, on the menu, go down to "Game Demos" and a PGR demo is there. You can only have 3 cars mind the BMW Z3, Porsche Boxter and Mazda RX 8.

The handling on some cars is jaw dropping. The game has 25 Lisenced cars and 200 circuits in 4 citys.

Its probs the best racing game i've played, since mario kart on the GBA anyway, that used to make me chortle on a regualr basis, until i got my xbox :)

Hmmm..™

Well in that case it may be more suited to my liking. If it uses real cars then it needs to be really fast, with jumps and spectacular crashes to get my attention, like burnout. Other wise I prefer Mario Kart type racers, weapons and stuff like that make racers so much more fun.

I used to love - seriously, I'd sleep with this game - PGR; but then I something beautiful came into my life - Rallisport Challenge. & so I had a mistress.

First of all I didn't life the Arcade-style steering (compared to PGR it's like turning air) but then it grew on me; and I became obsessed. The only real attraction for me with PGR is the selection of cars, but I'm just addicted to rallying!

I know its an arcade game! I was saying the Car Models and Tracks are realistic. Some cars handle great, which is what a love about this game, especially the Kudos system.

Gamezfreak, Project Gotham Racing is an arcade game and the word realism is associated with Gran Turismo 3 more than PGR. The Kudos point system alows big slides, two wheel turns and air bonus' but GT3 is just a plain racer. The cars are more realistic than in GT3 and the graphics on the car models are a step forward (the cities look Bit-mapped but PGR2 will slove this) over the PS2 game but apart from that GT3 is a much more realistic game, it just isn't as fun to play! So Whitestripes you would like PGR because most of the races only invlove 3-5 laps and there are only 4 which invlove more! The game isn't just racing it also inloves high-speed challengers and style competitions as well as some very exciting racers (and the added bonus of Porche and Ferrari), I just can't wait for the second :)

Its just personal taste i guess.

I think the game (PGR) gives a real sense of speed and acheivement, more than Gran Turismo 3 did for me anyway.
