I have just got a labtop, its is second hand but is fairly new. it came with no programs on it (ie windows). I have put my windows cd in but it does nothing. the picture on the screen shows insert and floppy disk, i didn't know you could windows on floppy, any help, i can get to a dos window if they can do anything.

any suggestions how to get windows installed

after trying it again it now says window setup requires 7340032, whats that mean???

right, ive done that, its says press enter to start, i press enter, and it comes up

please wait while setup initializes

then after 1 min

scanning system registry...

then after another min

windows setup reqires

then everything stops and nothing happens

any other suggestions???
