Why would you wanna buy an Xbox when you could buy a full spec PC, this so called Xbox its just like a pc but your using your tv and not a monitor.

Whats this new XBOX LIVE another scheme to boost sales!! Well sure, to use it you'll need to buy a pack with mic etc costing $49 in America. $49 all they asking for to boost popularity, yeh right.

Why would you want a Xbox, it may have good graphics but thats all. Long live the SONY with their PS2.

Yeah and there is quite a number of games coming over the next few months, also with Xbox live.

Nintendo said they will not bring the price of the Cube down as it is worth getting at £129.99 anyway. But know Xmas is on the way I think the sales for Xbox will boost as it is officially cheaper than the 2 year old PS2.

Cause Christmas is on the way and the PS2 needs to make its price more attractive to compete with the 2 newer consoles. Microsoft on the other hand don't want to let Sony do this without reply because they have to get people to switch to their console, hence another price drop for the X-Box. No doubt Nintendo will probably reply with a drop of their own very soon.

Why was there a price drop for both the PS2 and the Xbox? At last the Xbox is cheaper than the PS2.

Games console does'nt need updated drivers, new graphics cards - just plug and play.

True True. Thats all I got to say LOL. You can still call your PC a games console as you can hook it up to a PC, then buy a control pad, there you go. But I still prefer the good old game console.

well my PC is pretty recent set me back £1000 and to spend £189 on a console which is nearly as good is a bargin for people and unlike my PC games normaly work without upgrading drivers and patches.

but neither do i say i don't play games on the PC i play counter strike religiously and i love the x box and it's games.

i don't use any console to go online due to the lack of a internet connection on a console and a lack in the keyboard side.

hence why there called 'games consoles'

Ok, what are you using right now to post this message, well its either a PC or a laptop on which you can both play top class games on. Even GTA3 is better on the PC than the PS2 version. Most of us have PC's anyway, just go out and buy the games.
