Nat, I was lying, "gif" is the way forward, sorry for wating you time, you might be better off posting any web questions in the the PC/ Web forum - there you can hopefully get a correct answer !
On this site the images load in about 5 secs. When I copy and paste the same image into paint it goes to 1.5meg! Then if I save it as a gif straight from the webpage it is still the same. So I save it as a Jpeg and it is 1meg. It's weird :S Thanks for the help anyway.
