The NHS, that is. I'm going at 10 to give blood. I Am A Good Person. They told me this. Therefore it must be true. It's only the second time they've magically extracted a pint of blood from me. Hurray. I hope you all do the same. I wonder if Welsh blood can only be given to Welsh people..

Iv'e been doing it for quite a few years now.

I'm O Rhesus Neg which means I rock cos my blood is compatible with any other type - it means I'm a universal donor - trouble is I can only accept my own blood type if I need it sometime.

Be greatful, ye heya!? In me day, we had to find the scraps from the 'ol dog kennel, ye heya!?

Yeah, they stick a big pin in your hand and it spouts blood. They stick tiny drop in some liquid and it sinks and they give you a little plaster. That hurts like hell. Then they stick a massive needle in your arm, suck out blood, bandage it up good and that doesn't even hurt.

And they only let me have 1 biscuit. Gay NHS saving-people people.

First time I donated, they wouldnt let me have a cup of tea - only orange squash.

And I find the jabbing of the finger at the check-in worse than the actual donating session.
