"'Dark' Aeons"

Does anyone have any tips on how to defeat the 'Dark' Aeons - they are rock hard! One of them (Anima) has a whopping 8 million HP....Does anyone have tips to beat any of them?

I just read the thins on weapons and it sounds very complicated so can i just keep you informed on were i am and can you tell me when i get the stuff :D cheers

Take into consideration that Hp can be rasied to 99,999 and mp 9999 and all stats including luck to 255 then yes it still will be a challnge when ya fight them as they are mucho powerfull and have huge hp levels ta whitlle away

You can't just max up your stats to do it which is why these dark aeons were put in the game for, A CHALLENGE!
My stats are very low with only yuna and rikku actually doind proper damage but with tactics i have got all the way to dark shiva before coming quite stuck, plus the fact i haven't played FFX for almost a month.

As far as im aware you need all the main charcters you will be using to battle the Dark Aeons must be equipted with 4-slot armour which must contain these 3 abbilities
1. Auto-Phonix
2. Auto Haste or Auto Protect
3. Ribbon ( I heard this a is bloddy hard to customize! )

and the 4 can be optinal say something like Gillinaire of tripple Ap for and if you kill the aeon you would be looking at crazy numbers!

Another thing ya need is the bribe abbility in order to bribe monsters ( dont know what " exact " monsters to bribe as of yet and with what ammount of money but im working on it damit! )
Anyways ya need things like Dark Matter x 99 etc, to create these desired Auto-abbilities
* One thing to rember is the Battle Arena , the arena ,when you capture enough monsters from all areas can offer you many differnet rare items , namely the ones which are neede to create said abbilities . The problem is the better rares are obtained by defeating the Area and Original monsters which are not far off killing the Dark Aeons so its very,very hard. In my opinin try and get ya stats as high as poss i.e 50,600000 Hp high stats 200 strength etc ( done by going round the board like a ti* in a trance ( FF9 :)
Eventully ya stats should max and then ya can go open a can of whoop a$£ out of anything that moves.....hopefully

I don't think you get the Gil, you got to turn it into a monster first

If you want to defeat mimics in one go and get their items,
(and maybe even gil)then cast mug on it when it is a chest. SORTED!
