The release of the Freeloader looks set to go back and back each day, after ringing them today, they announced that the freeloader was still in Development and probably wouldn't make the Early August release they promised. The whole point of importing games will go out of the window soon, as all the big titles come out September/October and November and with a release of probably September now it's probably a good idea just to wait for the European releases.
Your best bet now is to go with the action replay as it is still slated for a middle of August release and they are just hopefully getting things ready.....

i have cancelled my order for resident evil from dvdboxoffice.com. thankfully there delivery is so bad they had not sent it. i had a thought of it just sitting there after 13th september waiting for freeloader. hopefully it is out before resident evil 0 in november.

i thought it was , im sure i saw it in game , but it might have been different , and on play.com it says it's been delivered , but im probably wrong , just forget what i said. sorry.

m.o.t , shall i tell you what to do about your freeloader problem ... well... just get the action replay , it's £10 more , from datel , has a freeloader option to play import games , and it's in the shops NOW. Just get that.

4 weeks is a biggie. Especially considering its the holidays and I got all this free time that i want to spend playing the likes of Mario sunshine, resi, and eternal darkness

The only reason they haven't released it yet is due to its development not being finished.

Sure, Datel were wrong to announce dates early, but most people know that most of the announcements for dates so far have been made up by sellers to try and get more sales - not Datel.

The only date Datel have ever announced on their official site is 'Early August'. So sure, we might get a late August release, but what's four weeks?

You could always sell them on Ebay. But this behaviour from Datel is farcical. Oh we will release it on so and so a date. Oh wait no lets build up hype first, and make more money.

dont say that, if it dont get released i've got a copy of resident evil and mario i cant play!

Its turning into a bit of a joke now...

Its just been sitting in my play order history for like two months now.

i just got an e-mail from datel saying:

"We have not been given a date we have just been told to expect this item to be finished and released in August. Since we have still not received a date for August it may be likely that this product will not be released until September."
