I have become intrested in this game after seeing it reviewed on Game-Pad 2.

Anyone who has got this game, Please answer these questions: -

What is the game about?

How many hours of gameplay does it offer (approx)?

Does it have a replayability value?

Thankyou.

You play as the GGs, a bunch of rollerbladin graffiti spraying kids. Gameplay centres around tagging around loads of lush levels with some cool music provided by Jet set radio. You also have to deal with the police and other gangs throughout the game too.

How many hours of gameplay does it offer (approx)?

The 1 player story game took me 18 hours I think but then I was an expert at the original game on the DC. There's a clock on the loading screan to tell you.

Does it have a replayability value?

Bucket loads. Ok here goes. In each of the 12 levels I think you must complete the story missions. Then once the game is completed you can find secret tapes hidden around each of the levels. Once you find the secret tapes you unlock 5 street challanges which are similar to THs. They may be "get 5ooooo points or something". Once you have completed those 5 challanges(they are hard) you unlock graffiti souls which appear around the level. Finding and collecting them unlocks more graffiti artwork.

THEN

Doing all the above unlocks time Trials for the levels like racing around the level as fast as you can and also spray the graffiti points as fast as you can. Achieve JET rankings on all the time trials will unlock a new character to play with in the main game.

You can do the all these things on all levels.

Phew, there is a hell of a lot to do in this game. To complete the game fully it took me I think 45 hours, it took Nomad 70hours I think.

I love this game, its really stylish and fun. Play the demo on OXM to get a taste of whats its like.

It's about a cool gang of rollerblading graffiti artists who through their "illegal" pastime attempt to sort out a corrupt mafia-style politian on the streets of Tokyo. - [That's not a very good decription by the way.]

There's the STORY MODE which takes about 15 - 20 hours to complete.
There's the STREET CHALLENGES which took me about 40 hours to complete.
Then there's the TEST RUNS which are made-up of various Time Trials.
I've completed and unlocked everything in the game and so far my game time clock reads 69 hours. Trust me, it's a big game.

Yes. For me, JSRF is the best game on the XBOX. Like all great games it's easy to pick-up-and-play and tricky to master.
Some people don't like the cel-shaded graphics but for this game in particular, they work perfectly. It's like graffiti art brough to life.

sure thing :D

going around the place graffiting things...to beat a rival clan you basically have to graffiti over their turf...and then to chase them around the level and tag them. of course the cops are not to happy about you doing this so they are after you as well and occasionally you have to beat them up as well(by graffiti). along the way you'll meet new characters scattered all over the place and to get them you have to accomplish certain challenges they set you. well that's the gist of it

haven't completed it myself...but if you want to find all the characters and stuff (different graffiti designs) then it should take quite a long time...in the level you get these jet set radio signs which will give you new designs when collected...to find out where they are you have to do certain things such as have a certain score in one combo...this will then reveal their location and then you have to somehow find out how to get to them
