Hi. Looking around I've noticed a lot of posts under the names of things such as 'SSBM - Help!', and 'Super Smash Bros. Melee Tips?' and things along those lines. Well, anyway, they seem to be ten a penny at the moment, so I've taken the liberty of making this the help thread. Thank-you, thank-you, hold your applause...

Anyway, I'll start us off. I can't get further than 215 meters in the home run contest. I've been using Ganondorf. Anyone got any tips or strategies? Who's the best character to use?

Use Ganondorf.

1. Pick up bat.
2. Dash over to Sandbag.
3. UP + A SMASH attack, charging slightly.
4. Jump up and meet the falling bag with a DOWN + A SMASH attack.
5. UP + A SMASH attack.
6. Jump up and meet the falling bag with a DOWN + A SMASH attack.
7. Charge and release a RIGHT + A SMASH attack for a score well over 450M.

How d'ya get a home run over 400m?

I have all stages and characters, 459.6M in the home run contest, and have 257 trophies.

My best home run is 452.2meters, and I have 250 trophies.

I've unlocked all characters, only got Final Destination to get and have completed maybe 44 of the 51 event matches. What are everyone's total target-test time & best homerun? My total time is about 10:48 and my best homerun is 421m with Ganondorf and I've got 248 trophies.

I'm equal with you on characters, ahead of you on trophies, and behind you on stages.

I've unlocked all charactors, allstages apart fom 2, 233 trophies and a banana.

Is that combined vs. time?

To unlock Mewtwo u have to play 20 hours of vs time play and to unlock Mr game and wcth complete either classic mode with every charcter or adventure with every charcter
