I see a discussion about James Bond films has begun in another topic. Lets give this subject a proper home. The simple question is which is the best James Bond film (well maybe it isn't so simple)

In case you can't remember them all here is a list.
dr no, from russia with love, goldfinger, thunderball, you only live twice, on her majestys secret service, diamonds are forever, live and let die, the man with the golden gun, the spy who loved me, moonraker, for your eyes only, octopussy, a view to a kill, the living daylights, licence to kill, goldeneye, tommorow never dies, the world is not enough.

Now, you can't just name the film, you have to give a reason.

My personal opinion - golfinger is the classic Bond film, the spy who loved me was Moore's best film and Tommorow Never Dies is the best since (well the first hour anyway)

Oh and the game of Goldeneye is great...

You look away and Boris says "I am invincible" and I turn round and shoot him :D

Sure, I lose the mission, but it's well worth it :D

There are too many for me to choose one, so I'll choose my favourite scenes:

Goldfinger:

James Bond is on that table with the laser about to scorch his inferior genitals and he says, "Do you expect me to talk?" and AUric Goldfinger (Au being the chemical symbol for Gold) states the obvious, "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to diieeee!"

Quality.

Moonraker:

Jaws smiles his trademark smile at Bond, who then does it back to him.

Genius.

brown finger? That conjures up some pretty nasty images...

The spy who loved me is best and I'll tell you why :

1) That Lotus, pure brilliance
2) Jaws, in all his comical glory. Scenes such as the one where he drives off a cliff, lands in a house, then comes out the house, adjusts his tie, brushes his jacket, and casually walks off. And of course the shark bit.
3) One of the best car chases in any bond film (in the lotus)
4) One of the best soundtracks

Has to be Live and Let Die, with Goldfinger a close second.

Goldeneye

"I am invincible!"

Second best is Living Daylights - nothing better than '80s music

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
