I see a discussion about James Bond films has begun in another topic. Lets give this subject a proper home. The simple question is which is the best James Bond film (well maybe it isn't so simple)

In case you can't remember them all here is a list.
dr no, from russia with love, goldfinger, thunderball, you only live twice, on her majestys secret service, diamonds are forever, live and let die, the man with the golden gun, the spy who loved me, moonraker, for your eyes only, octopussy, a view to a kill, the living daylights, licence to kill, goldeneye, tommorow never dies, the world is not enough.

Now, you can't just name the film, you have to give a reason.

My personal opinion - golfinger is the classic Bond film, the spy who loved me was Moore's best film and Tommorow Never Dies is the best since (well the first hour anyway)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Roger Moore played Bond in this one. You like the theme that much?

I'm a fan of all the original Bond films, although Goldeneye was good the rest suck.
Roger Moore was the worst Bond other than the American tart from 'Her Majest'y Secret Service' First time I saw that I thought it was a joke, heh.

View to a Kill - best Bond film because of the theme tune (best one in my opinion)

BMWs also suck, now hes driving an Aston Martin? shameless American's buying our motors, bah, he should drive a Bentley or something.

Goldeneye for me, since Sean Bean is the man - the best Bond villain and Brosnan is a great Bond (second only to Connery).

And I don't think a Roger Moore Bond film could ever be classed as the best. In my opinion, he was a terrible Bond.

GoldenEye. Because it rocked plain and simple. Closely followed by Man With The Golden Gun. Which in turn was closely followed by Goldfinger.

Hmm... Lots of gold in this post :-D
