Now I know this system comes out in a few days (5th August) but was just wondering if SR plan to sell it. Also on the Gamecube forum some have said it needs a separate memory card or a NTSC compatible TV. Could anyone confirm this or give me specific details. Thanks. Also would this didk allow for pirating of Games as that would not be a very good idea *sarcasm*

Datel, the makers of the Freeloader and Action Replay devices, just like Nintendo, are totally against pirated software. Infact, anyone who even mentioned pirated games on their UBB was cautioned and maybe banned.

Datel have never actually announced August 5th as the release date for the Freeloader, but have claimed 'Early August' to be their release date. So don't be disappointed if it's not released then. Mind you if it is, at least the moaning over it's release date from some people will cease.

You probably will need a seperate memory card as I assume the Freeloader DVD disk will have to place a file on a memory card so when the Cube checks that memory card it over rules the NTSC/PAL whatever region stuff. If I'm right about that, the memory card with this file will only be useable with the NTSC games so you'll need seperate memory cards for import games than PAL ones... (and you may need seperate memory cards for games if they are USA or Japan games, but I'm not sure since both are NTSC...)

I cant see Nintendo allowing freeloader to go on sale if it allowed pirated games to be played. And i doubt you will ever see a pirated GC game in the consoles lifetime.
