Keep the Xbox and play Halo forever. Its the Xbox Goldeneye.
And depending on your tastes, go for DOA3, PGR, Amped, Munch and JSRF. Also go for Rallisprot, Max Payne, Champ Man.
All are great in thier own ways and well worth your time&money.
Good news for me everyone. My Dad had enough of the waiting for my reward pack to arrive and he phoned up MS and really got layed into them! He use words like "pathetic, incompetent and unprofesional" to describe how we have been treated with out claim. And in compensation for the wait, I have scored a free copy of PGR. Nice.
So thats Munch, Amped, PGR and a controller I am still due to recieve supposidly within the next week.

Quite right, but like the sound of freebies... actually, just won the xbox today, was going to buy a gamecube soon, now should I sell the xbox before I open it so I can get the GC or is the xbox good enough to keep ?

First thing to do is make sure you get the uk helpline! first three attempts all got through to the irish line, who seem to invent things to try not to send u stuff (in my case they insisted that my system number had already been registered which was utterley wrong)
