I think this virus is a worm that uses the MSN lists to send e-mails using the hotmail servers to the rest of the people on your buddy list. I think it also uses KaZaA and creates various files which is disguises itself in.
I think it will be somewhere on your PC so I suggest you get your virus checker, update it from its site and search your computer for it and remove it.

I have a mate who knows what site the cure for the actual virus is, but he doesn't know how to stop the e-mails.

Both mails I've received have gone into mu Junk Mail folder and simply been deleted without opening, but that hasn't stopped four people so far from getting the virus off of me!

They haven't got the VIRUS as such, but they've had the e-mail.
Which supposedly means that the virus is active even without opening the message. How else could they have got it from me?
