You may have already heard this, but I was just looking at gamesradar.com, and look what I found:
"Infogrames has announced that Driver 3 will be multi-format and will appear on PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and PC. This marks the first time a Driver game has appeared on any console other than PlayStation.
The game is in development by Reflections in Newcastle - the same team who developed both Driver 1 and 2. They are also currently working on Stuntman for PS2.
"The success of the Driver franchise is an historic milestone in the gaming industry. Driver 3 on the PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and PC will undoubtedly take the franchise to another level of success and gaming experience", frothed Larry Sparks, Vice president of European Marketing for Infogrames.
The game is scheduled for release some time in 2003."
That's a nice little surprise, and should make GC & Xbox owners who don't have a PS2 nice and happy.

hmmmm, doesnt make a difference. I'll just get the one with quickest load times. Driver 2 had crap load times, havnt played a GC game with any noticable annoying load times yet...Even memory card saves are super sweet fast.

Don't hate consoles!!
I like the XBOX, may have been too pricy for me but it's got good games, I like the PS2 too. I wanted to get a gamecube as none of my mates had one and that I thought it had some good games coming up in the future. I'm happy with what I have got and given the chance I would have all three!

I like the XBOX, may have been too pricy for me but it's got good games, I like the PS2 too. I wanted to get a gamecube as none of my mates had one and that I thought it had some good games coming up in the future. I'm happy with what I have got and given the chance I would have all three!

I really didn't want Driver 3 to go multi-format. I mean. Gamecube aren't even letting you rent their games nevermind put them on different consoles and well... X-Box just sucks. But This is going to be one of the PS2's great games and it's going to be a waste if its being thrown around other consoles.
