Oh, by the way everyone, those weren't in order.

I see you're all saying that it got 10 for graphics and 8 for gameplay, but not so. Those aren't in order, and I don't know what the real order is, but I'm just saying that is what the 4 scores are.

Just clearing that up. :-)

You eeeediots. What they do, is they have four separate people review the game, then they add the scores together to get a total. So two people rated it 10/10, and two people rated it 8/10.

You should try talking to them, if you've got time!

I read somewhere that here in Europe games are hardest because in Japan most games nowadays are made easier (or Jap games sometimes made harder over here) because the Japanese are always used to winning games. While back in the day we played Space Invaders and the like, arcade games that often had infinite levels, so couldn't be 'won', in Japan they were playing the more structured games that could be won as they took so long to be released in Europe. So apparently here in Europe we don't mind so much if we can't complete a game. And in America games are often made easier because on average people aren't quite as bright over there...

10 for graphics!? And 8 for Gameplay!? I no believe! I'm just gonna wait for the GamesRadar/NGC Magazine review. You can get the Gamesradar (www.gamesradar.co.uk) review on 23rd July...(one day after meh birthday, Freeloader and Mazza Sunshine here I come!) and the NGC comes out shortly after.

No matter what the Famitsu review says (10 for lifespan, when NGC said last issue that it's a 10-hour game) we all know that this game is gonna be the knuts. Reserve a copy now, I say.

But the Japanese don't tend to like overly difficult games, for example, many of the ISS titles have to have their difficulty levels increased when they are released here, and many games such as Metal Gear Solid 2 have extra hard difficulty levels that aren't in the Japanese versions.

I suppose becasue so many games are being released over there every week, they don't want to be stuck on a game, they just want to progress onto the next one and the next one.

Well Famitsu are stupid then. If it beomes harder it is good, it means it'll last longer! They shouldn't be marking a game down because it is challenging... if it becomes annoying and feels unfair at times then maybe a mark down, but if it is just fair and it doesn't feel annoying or unfair then no, it should not be marked down, in my opinion it should be commended for offering the player a challenge (which is something most people have been criticising Nintendo for with the short titles like Luigi and Pikmin)...

So blergh to them. And I damn well hope this Mazza game does pose a challenge, there's nothing as annoying as a title which looks this good, and has this much hype around it, but then you finish it in a few days.
