Thought it was time a thread was started, nearly release day, I cannot wait, I know I will complete 100% by the end of the weekend but who cares, replay value exceeds anything else on PS2 by miles.

Exactly what Schizo's just said :-) sorry I thought you were being sarcastic.

On the licence test you have the option to have the pace car or no pace car, decision is yours but I find it better with the pace car because it give you an incentive to beat something.

When you do the licence tests you have the option of having a pace car with you - the idea being to show you the corrrect line.

In the pod race, holding the handbrake lowers the car down, reducing it's gap from car to ground. Although how this gets you over the ramp god knows.

They are, thanks I had no idea can you win one?

Who cares what THEIR use is if there ARE no crashes (sorry just being picky :-) ) it's good to bash them or try and push them off or just show 'em a clean pair of heels/tyres :-)

They have flashy blue lights on them and you chase them round the track, or hopefully leave them behind in your dust/dirt trail :-)

Ah but the pace cars can be handy, especially if used as a braking barrier into a corner :-) oh and they can help you get gold as well, especially on a run into the finish with a nice long straight, just sit in front and they give you a nice push along. The AI just hasn't figured out that if they turn the wheel they CAN overtake on a straight line instead of just the racing line.

Yeah, handbrake and brake and then up over that stupid hump, what's the point of that....oh and the sounds they make when contact is made....wtf is that all about?
