Right, as we all know. I got banned.

Why? Heh, for some stupid pathetic reason.

Its like nicking a few sweets from a shop and getting 10 years in jail.

Why have all the staff just ran away like girls? Hm?

Now, I dont know /who/ banned me, but they have done a runner. Or just won't post, because they're too scared. Now, it was either Darkus or Hybrid, I think. And just because Hybrid is so in love with Mystique she can @rse about the forums as she pleases.

I have been here just under a year now, and done.. mmmm... NOTHING wrong. Won 5GADs so I can't be /that/ bad. And I do the smallest, so small, you can't even see it. Sarcastic post in the world, even a blind frail old women would notice that it was sarcastic. But, no. You didn't.

I honestly can't be bothered anymore, I come on the forums daily and, now, it just sucks behind. You banned me. Go cry and abuse your power. "We will ban whoever we like" BAH, I'll joyride whoever's car I want. Its pathetic.

As we all know. This is getting pathetic. Do I want to start up new account every 5 minutes? No. Why can't you just unban my old account, seeing as I didn't do anything wrong in the first place and everyones happy. All these silly topics stop. Its fine. Its not like im a regular trouble maker is it? Nope.

Other people have been banned. Monkey Man, who is cool. And im just using you as an example mate, played with html and im sure he got banned. Yes. He did. Because I remember the topics about it. And he was unbanned.

Someone asked for a key code for a pirated piece of software and GasMask sarcastically quoted a random number. A member of staff them assumed it was real and banned him.

What is this sarcastic post that got GasMask banned? And who the hell was he anyway?

Oh, and try changing your name to 'GasMask'. It won't let you. Further proof that the GasMask name (and therefore I must assume the associated stats and all that) has not been deleted.

Only staff can use HTML in posts.
monkey_man found that you could use HTML in the title thingy but that got corrected after the whole fiasco it caused when he very colorfully announced it.

Is it actually possible to use HTML in the forums? I didn't think it was because people posted URLs instead of hyperlinks.

Now that's what I hate about these forums, most people on here are great, but you're always going to get the odd few who aren't. I have no problem with either of these guys, and having a good laugh with Hybrid in the 'Meet Hybrid' topic a while back, I find it difficult to see him being like that, but on the other hand, I don't really know what he's like, so to me, this seems the problem:

Gassie wants his first account back, and he's going to keep making a stand until he does getting back. I suppose you could say he's being a baby about it, but then at least this exemplifies a good point: he really does care about his membership, and in a way, I suppose it shows that he's sorry for what he's done. I still think he's being patronised, to be honest, and that the staff (Hybes especially) are being too harsh on him. Yes, the gratuitous swearing did warrant a banning, but wouldn't it have been smarter to just unban his old account, or does that defeat the object of banning? Not really, threatening respected members with bannings will most likely clean up their act in a second, and Gassie has shown that, although the swearing does him no favours.

Is this an issue of pride? Is it that Hybes can't admit that he's wrong, I'm not going to go and accuse people of this without proof, so I think I'll leave it at that. I think we need to get these two guys in a public forum like this and settle their differences, because there obviously seems to be some problems which need to be ammended, and swearing and ignorance won't help, will it? I say that to both Gassie and Hybrid.
