Danny Boy Devon, AKA Torquay United, AKA King Dan III of Peignton, AKA DJ Dan, AKA The Plinkmaster, has finally sorted new servers.

So we should be nice and fast and reasonably reliable for a while.

Tell yer mates it's safe to come back!

Go'on, try it now. Let me know what you think. Is it fast? see any bugs?

A programmer has been involved:

programmer "2 + 2 = 45672"

boss "that doesn't seem right"

programmer "it must be right"

boss "why"

programmer "my addition program says so"

boss "your program has no quality control"

programmer "what's quality control?"

boss "there are two programmers over there, and two more over there. Now count their heads and cross check the result with your addition program"

programmer "I've corrected my program and now it says 2 + 2 = 5".

boss "that's not right. two plus two equals four"

programmer "yes, but I thought 5 was close enough. By the way, this addition program has a buffer loop context, so it needs a more powerful server and a new software licence. A triple P4 2400 with about 40 megatons of ram should do, plus a copy of Microsoft Profit 2002"

boss "maybe we should cut the staff down to pay for it!"
