So, finally, I'm back from Portugal. 2 weeks away from SR. The horrors. :D Anyway, I've decided to put together a little diary, that hopefully you will enjoy.

Day 1: Arrived at Faro airport, where it was rather hot. Actually found my hotel really good, as the rooms were so big. Always remember to book Room 120 at the Balaia Plaza, Albufiera if you want a good room. ;-)

Day 2: Went to the beach most of the day and got sun burned. Not a very exciting day.

Day 3: Played football, went swimming, played tennis in the day, and at night I went out to a club and got drunk. Got into a fight with some Portugese guy. I got out with a black eye, and he got himself face first on the concrete. :-)

Day 4: Went out to eat at a Dutch resteraunt. A group of Dutch people were eating there, all of them were very strange. The men were blone, high voiced fools that shouted at one another despite sitting next to each other. The women were very fat, and had low voices. Some were dropping glasses and things, and one had a cat with no tail. The language was strange also. I've made a mental note never to travel to The Netherlands on holiday.

Day 5: Went to the town of Vilamoura, where there are lots of golf courses, and a huge port. Lobbed an ice cream on to some rich German ponce's yacht. Not a very exciting day though.

Day 6: Boring as hell. The most exciting thing I did all day was a crap! :D

Day 7: Travelled to the 'old town', Albufiera. It was actually not bad, and I got myself a Portugal football strip, and a big spiky necklace.

Day 8: Was at the swimming pool all day, watching some fat bloater walking around with England boxers on.

Day 9: Went out to a club again at night, and got drunk yet again. No fights though. I was annoyed.

Day 10: Was hung over, and very sick.

Day 11: Was back at the beach, where there were some nice topless ladies. ;-) Swam in the sea a lot, despite it being freezing cold. Got a nice tan that day anyway.

Day 12: Watched Sumo Wrestling on Eurosport and other crap on TV, as I was sick again. Too much sea water got into my head somehow, and made me feel very dizzy. Eurosport, CNN and BBC World were the only English channels we had. There was a German channel though that was funny to watch.

Day 13: Went to the pool, the beach and the club one last time, before going to bed quite early. Needed to be up for the flight. Took it easy on the drinking.

Day 14: Got on the plane back to Glasgow, after my holiday in Albufiera, Portgual. Can't say I didn't enjoy myself, but it was a bit boring at some points. Worth a visit for anyone looking for somewhere to go.

Well, hope you enjoyed it. ;-)

AJ.

I never would have thought that would happen.

No surprise there....

It's a pretty boring place. If you got bored at Portugal, then I suggest you commit murder sooner rather than later. Stupid Hooligans.

What fottie team do you support again?

Sounds like you had a great time, but did nothing to dispell the stereotypical view of Britons abroad.

Welcome back!

I went there with the school as part of the foreign exchange. Despite only being 14, we all got served drink at this beer festival. Which was nice

Anyway, one day I hope to go back, with my mates, and get lashed beyond belief... a lot
