"Gameaday Gran Prix - Mario Kart Wii"

I know some of us on the forums are lucky enough to have Mario Kart on the Wii or know people with the Game, so i figured, for a little bit of fun. Why not do some Gameaday time trials.(no actual prizes can be won)
Basically, i will start with a track and within the next 24 hours, post your best LAP AND TOTAL CIRCUIT TIME of that track, then the next poster after the winner can name a new track to try it on.

Now i know you could cheat if you want to but i think the winner should submit picture evidence! or i know a lot of you have got each others FC and you should be able to see the time.

Please note that the best Lap time and Best Total time are underline, in bold and italic
The League works like this:
1st place gets 4 points, 2nd place gets 2 and 3rd place gets 1
There is a league for both total time on the track and an individual Lap, so make sure you post both!


The Third Track - We need to ensure that some people start stealing points for circuit time, or else it will be a 3 man race for 1st place! Good luck

Grandprix your insane, did you use the lil shortcut with the bike and mushrooms??

i got mine and Black8704's score, check the main post. you beat us! but we are tryign to surpass you!

Peach Beach was one of my best tracks on Double Dash so I only really needed to tweak my driving style to the new turbos.

As for Luigi Circuit, I got my time down into the 1m19s. I'm not sure the exact time but I'll put it up later.

GP is a beast at Mario Kart, I'm pretty sure his time is somewhere around 1:21.000... So I'm going for a second/third place finish again.

Just so a record is kept on this thread, the results for Peach Beach are to be deleted off the original post. The Luigi Circuit ones will now start to go up

Right, Luigi Circuit. Well without what I like to call the cheating path (you all know the one I mean =D) I get 01:27.400 with a lap time of 00:27.640

I shall give Eccles and Jubba a slap for you, they both have the game and should get involved!

You can see how the league will run / look
but as we get more people and the points spread then the top 7ish people will be shown

Any other suggestions / improvements then let me know
