"Gameaday Gran Prix - Mario Kart Wii"

I know some of us on the forums are lucky enough to have Mario Kart on the Wii or know people with the Game, so i figured, for a little bit of fun. Why not do some Gameaday time trials.(no actual prizes can be won)
Basically, i will start with a track and within the next 24 hours, post your best LAP AND TOTAL CIRCUIT TIME of that track, then the next poster after the winner can name a new track to try it on.

Now i know you could cheat if you want to but i think the winner should submit picture evidence! or i know a lot of you have got each others FC and you should be able to see the time.

Please note that the best Lap time and Best Total time are underline, in bold and italic
The League works like this:
1st place gets 4 points, 2nd place gets 2 and 3rd place gets 1
There is a league for both total time on the track and an individual Lap, so make sure you post both!


The Third Track - We need to ensure that some people start stealing points for circuit time, or else it will be a 3 man race for 1st place! Good luck

Think there is some improvement available there, just got to hijack Emmie's Wii!!! Was tempted to buy a wii just for this game! But when GTA4 comes out it'll probably never get used again!

I think it's on the Lightning Cup, the last of the retro ones. Quite simple to unlock, especially as you can do it on 50cc.

If you watch the ghost, they use Funkey Kong and a Big bike (dont know which one) and they use a mushroom per lap when they go to powerslide and it looks like they are off the track.

You will see what i mean if you watch / race their ghost data.

Do you have to unlock SNES Mario Circuit as i aint sure if i have got it? Aint checked as i aint home til 5:00 but i might have to do some 1 player action

You'd have to stay up all night I think because I usually stay up quite late. :)

SNES Mario Circuit is okay I think. Not a track I've spent a lot of time on but it should be a good challenge.

Perhaps I should stay up later as you seem to put your times up about half 11, but mine go up about an hour earlier.

I think I've got you beaten by a good few tenths, then by the next morning when I check, you've done me.

Hehe, sorry, but time trial competitions bring out my competitive side. At least it gives everyone a chance to get better and give me a challenge.

I know a high 16 is possible in the Flame Flyer but I think I'm really reaching the limits of what that car is capable of. I'm obviously missing something as I'm nowhere near the World Record.

I have said it before but i will say it again - this time trial will finish Thursday Morning. So get those times in and get everyone involved
