i dont know about you but i own a playstation and an n64 and im in a bit of a pickle!! i dont know whether to get smackdown 2 or no mercy. im going to run over some of the games top stuff and see what the difference is this may also help you out so read on!!!

WWF NO MERCY:

no mercy includes many new wrestlers and more than smackdown 2. it does nt feature as many modes e.g. no hell in a cell or casket match but the visuals are looking sharp and there are more moves to do.i think no mercy is a must buy for any N64 owner( fan of wrestling or not) because it has the best gameplay and N64 game has ever had and the graphics look brilliant!!! You can also put people through the anouncers table ( nice ) the 3D is also possible and looks brilliant when you stick them through the table in the backstage area. In the backstage area there is a bar with a pool table in it and you can stick people through that too. Theres also a create a player mode and a Smackdown mall where you can get all your moves from.


WWF SMACKDOWN 2: KNOW YOUR ROLE :

this game features more matches to take place in and the hell in a cell match looks brilliant ( check out the pics at UKplaystation.com) you can put people through the top of it like the mankind and HHH match last year and THQ have really pushed the playstations graphics to the limit. Its got all of your favorite wrestlers in it from Scotty 2 Hotty to Mideon and all of the original smackdown features are in there and theres more moves than ever!!! Theres also the old create a player function which alows you to make a fat or a thin bloke.


There ive said the reviews so now its upto you to decide which one you buy, personally im going to get both as they both sound so good.


WWF NO MERCY: 10/10 98%
WWF SMACKDOWN 2: 10/10 97%

The release date for smackdown 2 has been put back to Dec 1st in order to co-inside with WWF Rebellion, which is when the WWF lot come to England to beat each other up. The N64 version No Mercy has gone back a week because it takes so long to product cartridge games.

one it could not be released on the 1/11/00 as that was not a friday. also the games are made by the same company so theres no real threat of compatition. the reason that the dates are not the same is.... well i dont know it but it has to be a good one.

William Regal is Steven regal, but the WWF thought it had to many steve/stevens (steve austin, steve blackman, Steven richards)so they changed from hid first name to his midlle name which is William.

wwf no mercy is the best game to do with wrestling to go on any macine. wwf smackdown is utter rubbish compared to what wwf no mercy is going to be like.
