No Mercy
+
Smackdown Mall will keep you playing
Good championship mode
Realistic
Wide range of options
Cool weapons
Any move through a table
You can edit pre-made superstars (i.e X-Pac)
Good Contols
A lot of match types
Bucket loads of moves
Cool create-a-ppv
You can really feel the impact
-
Too hard sometimes
Limited create-a-superstar
Awful "create-a-stable" option
Some characters look very similar (i.e Trish and Terri)
Frustrating
Some superstars' faces look nothing like their real-life ones, I mean, Buh Buh looks French and Hardcore Holly looks like a pig!
You can't hit people while they are getting up
No multiplayer season (even in tag, hell, you can't even have the other player contol a manager
Not that different from WM2K
No table match
Smackdown! 2
+
Fast = Frantic = Fun
Great backstage areas (do a Senton off a shelf through a desk!)
HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE number of match types
Brilliant create-awrestler, create-a-stable and C-A-Manager
Long life (if you can bear to play season mode)
Breakable tables!
Multiplayer season
Cool double-teams
Lots of moves
CAN hit people as they are getting up
Multiplayer season
-
What is up with that music?!
Super-un-realistic
Season mode is infuriatingly slow (but sometimes fun)
In King of the Ring, you cannot choose the participants or who they go against in each round
No tap-out animation (unless you do Walls of Jericho or Crossface but it looks pretty lame anyway)
Walls of Jericho is all weird
It's hard getting around backstage when facing the CPU (they always move you before the arrow turns blue)
The Last Ride is so fast it is just stupid
There. Now stop bickering and accept that they are both great.
P.S When are we going to see a wrestling game with 1 vs. 2 moves. Not as in two people doing a move on one person but as in one person doing a move on 2 people. For example say you get whipped into the ropes and are about to be 3D'd, what if you could counter and chokeslam 2 people at the same time (i.e one person with each hand)?

Bored?? I got bored ws**th No Mercy after 10 minutes. It's way too slow.
I'm afraid you're just the biased N64 fan.

I'm afraid what you've said is total rubbish.
There are 18 backstage arenas, more than No Mercy's 6 or something like that.
Also, what does "bothing" mean?? And, you go to the boilor room, to fight in the boilor room, not to watch things boil.
Go outside to fight,go to the bar and use the benches and stuff for weapons.
It looks better if they are in the middle of the ring.
ACTUALLY, when you hit your SMACKDOWN move, they stay down for quite a long time, AND you always get a 3 count when you pin them.
Also, the more moves you do on SD2, the longer you stay down.
Oh yeah, you can powerbomb, pile-drive and rock bottom through a table, as well as doing ANY move off the top rope.
Bad things about No Mercy:
The glitch. Everyone is having to send their copies back. At least there's nothing wrong with the actual GAME of SD2.
AT LEAST SD2 IS FASTER THAN A SNAIL TRAVELLING AT ITS SLOWEST THROUGH STICKY MUD!!! IT'S A LOT MORE FUN THAN NO MERCY!!!
AND, at least it doesn't take AGES to do one match.
AND there is Hell In A Cell, Table, Casket, Ladder Matches, Tag Team Table matches and TLC as well as all the old ones, Cage match for instance.
What's on No Mercy?? Hmmm...Ladder, Iron Man, Cage, single, tag errrrrrrrr that's it.
I reckon you've hardly ever played SD2.
Also, the ring is TINY on No Mercy, when I was playing No Mercy it felt squashed and though there wasn't much room.
OH YEAH!! ON NO MERCY, WHEN YOU DO THE WORM, HE DOES ALL THE DANCING BIT, AND THEN YOU HAVE TO DO THE CHOP MANUALLY BY PRESSING AND HOLDING GRAPPLE BUTTONS OR WHATEVER!!! WHY DOESN'T HE JUST DO IT AUTOMATICALLY!!
Man, I laughed when I heard about that.
So, I'm afraid you argument is sadly flawed.
I'm off to play the FUN SD2.
Thanks for reading, Ant.
