Smackdown 2 and No Mercy are different games. They have different styles.
If it wasn't for the fact that they both feature WWF characters, then you wouldn't even be comparing them, as they are that different.
The way I see it, WWF No Mercy is a slower paced, more tactical game (though button bashing may still get you somewhere!), whereas Smackdown is a more arcade style game, therefore faster paced.
Some of you will like one over the other.

bloody hell. some funny stuff going down on this page today. One thing i do agree with. "the game" speaks like he has the brain of a 5 yr old. okay i got respec for ya, being a fellow N64 fan. I myself is a hardcore nintendo fan. but u take it to another level with the stuff u come out with. Another i agree with is too many people are sucking up to ant. what the hell is going on there!
