when the williams sisters ruled tennis?
When Lewis won the heavyweight title?

but it doesnt have to be achievements....

When Tyson bit Holyfield's ear?
When Cantona 'drop-kicked' the fan?
When the Chicago Bulls quit?

c'mon, get your imagination flowing and post all your

I am from northern ireland and fully support my team, wether most of them are protestants or not (religeon is a big issue here). I may not have a season ticket but I see most of their games, their not even in the premier division yet I follow them, just like united.

My point has evidently gone right over your head so I'll just leave it.

See you at Deepdale next season where, if past performance is a good indicator, we should win 3 - 0 , again!

Good point. But Beckham then was only 22. Keano is 30. Ferguson is a pedant who doesn't like to talk to the press if he's in one of his moods so he talks Keane into doing. Keane is not the sharpest tool in the box so he goes on telly and sl@gs off his team mates. Is anyone then surprised to find that Keane is well above his station when it comes to the national team?

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I feel sorry for Keane's kids because they have to grow up knowing they had a World Class footballer for a father who disgraced himself on the biggest stage of all. Even he reaslised his stupidity but Mick was astute enough to tell him where to go when he tried to get back into the team.

my local team is Sheffield United and you were aiming that remark at us, but since I have a season ticket at my local team and go watch them and a lot of Man Utd game abroad and around the Country how can you categorise everyone who dont live in Manchester? I probably watch more games than some fans who live in Manchester..

So I still ask you whats your point?

There are many Man U fans on these forums and not a single one which I have encountered is from Manchester. Perhaps this is why the lower leagues are in such a state because everyone seems nowadays, with football being so fashionable, to latch on to the most succesful team.

My question was, where do you come from?

Yeh, Im sure you were saying that 4 years ago at World Cup 98? Just like many other supporters who were booing him and making his + his family's life a hell then, now seem to fall at his feet and adore him, what hypocrites?
