I played it round a mates last week and was amazed!! I spent all week wondering how I could get a Japanese game working on my PAL PS2, I sorted it yesterday!!!
Hooray for Winning Eleven, it should get me through til October (Pro Evo 2)!!!
Lineker
Keegan
Shilton
Gascoigne
Jimmy Greaves
Gordon Banks
and SIR Stanley Matthews
to name but a few!!!!
Gonna try Classic Brazil next!!!!
Konami are getting there though, supposedly the next Winning Eleven to be released in Japan will have online capabilities,
i.e. online leagues running all year
update player stats
download goals onto the net
Sounds wicked don't it!!!!!
Sports Interactive were such big fans of the game, they let them use all their data.

A top world cup game that's better that some on ps2.
Don't belive me, well try it it's free.
Imagine playing LMA manager with all the transfer markets and training and tactics, but then when it's match day, pro evolution 2 game comes on and you play the match, change tactics and subs.
There'd be promotion and relegation battles, F.A. cup matches, europe and the champions league, all the foregin leagues to buy and scout players from. Promotion playoffs at the millenium stadium.
Oh my god, say goodbye to your life if that game ever came out, AND i've not even played Pro Evo 2 yet.
These 2 games are both PS2 games, so what would stop kionami and codemasters joining together and going for world domination.
> I'm pretty sure the new Pro Evo 2 is gonna have the full FIFA licence,
> I know the South American teams have been corrected!!!
What it needs is a full english league licence, basically LMA manager licence with Champ manager stats, and Pro Evo 2 match engine.
Mmmmmmmm (drools!!)
I forgot about the shirt colours and design, I'll look at that tonight!
As for the sponser, it's Adidas, which means the World Cup ball, but Umbro are on the PAL release in October!!
> You could do that for Pro Evolution Soccer, no?
No, in Winning Eleven 6 you can edit the team kits and even the flags. Which you can't do in pro evo.
