Oh and Mr Chainsaw, Mario Sunshine is apparently as big as Mario 64 was which in my mind is hella big.

I agree, and it's just as well because I haven't played my GC in a few weeks now. Medal of Honor (which isn't even that great) and FFX have kept me on my PS2.

SILENCE!!! Mediocre?! What the hell are you talking about?! FFX is a fantastic game. One of the best I've ever played, and I didn't have high hopes. Ocarina of Time was by far and away the best game I'd ever played before FFX but not anymore. First FFX game I've ever played and it is brilliant. Gotta play it a bit to get into it though. You can't just start off for an hour or so and then make up your mind.
But Starfox does look great. It looks a lot like Ocarina of Time in the style of the gameplay actually.
There are just as many naive Playstation 2 fanboys as there are GameCube. Maybe I could consider you to be a naive FFX fanboy, but at the moment, I'm guessing you have more sense than to think FFX is the best game ever.
I myself am a fan of the games moreso than the console. I will always try a game before criticising, and will never judge on simple factors like length of the games. Not all Nintendo games are short, and just because the earlier games are, doesn't mean every one in the future will be.
Some people could argue that FFX is too long, I mean, 80 hours is a long time (if that's true).
Skies of Arcadia or RPGs of similar style interest me a lot more in the same genre. Or even better, Action RPGs like Diablo 2 and The Legend of Zelda.
My brother enjoys FFX mind, but it's far from being the best game ever!
