"GasMask banned?"

Just saw in the Top 40 Games thread started by FM, that GasMask's name was greyed out, and he's been banned.

What for? Anyone know?

Concise and to the point Stryke, but ultimately it's the staff's decision, and bearing in mind the potential ramifications for them if the serial number was correct (which it thankfully wasn't) myabe that was their only option.

Hopefully a consensus can be reached soon and we can all get back to normal. Agree?

SR, if GasMask is told to go away rather than be warned about something that he didn't know was wrong, then that is just not right.

Ok, so maybe posting a serial number, fake or not, was a bad thing to do on a site such as this, but he didn't know that he was doing anything wrong, and he damn sure didn't know he was going to get banned for it!

In my opinion, yes, he should've been given a warnign, but I wouldn't take it so harshly as to ban him.

I'll say no more.

Please, we're not trying to be abusive. It's gotten a little bit out of hand. Wookiee has proven it's not a real serial number, which, along with the sarcastic tone of the post, proves it was all a joke. In bad taste, admittedly. Thats all. We just want to see a mate and a good poster be unabnned.

I agree with you entirely Darkus this isnt the way forward and Gasmask needs to be patient. Rome wasnt built in a day.

right after reading all that i have came to my own decision.

Gasmask shouldnt have been banned, well he should have for posting a serial number but once SR found out it was a joke (seeing as they cant take any) they should have unbanned him.
