Probably not but you have to take these thing with a pinch of salt.

If you were realistic games such as pong, space invaders, asteroids and definately tetris should be up there if it is a true all time top 40.

Yeah, it's a damn good game but it certainly isn't the 3rd best game ever made.

You ever played Soul Calibur ? easily the best beat em up still available. Bring on Soul Calibu 2...

Fraid not, it needs pretty low specs though. My PC is so old and it still runs it.

The lists a load of crap. Soul Calibur is apparently the 3rd best game ever, warra load of crap. They got 1st place right, but Goldeneye should definetly be higher.

no it's just you :) and anyway this is a list of the best 40 games EVER! and I dont really think MGS derserves to be in the list anyway, but then again neither do THPS2 or 3 but thats not the point, the point is Zelda Ocarina Of Time is the best game ever made and thats all that matters. :)

I love Car smashing games I just that those series where pretty pants. If you want the best Car smashing game of all time get hold of a copy of Carmageddon 2 that game rules so much it hurts. Not only do you get to destroy the oppositions cars, you also get to run people and animals over. If you don't like the sounds of backing up a JCB over an Elephant then you're either a big girl or an inbred. :)

I'm shocked. It's obviously a pro-Ninty site, because the GBC version of MGS was above the PSX version!
MGS should at least be third, and definitely be above MGS2 and the GBC version.
