The best performances were, by far, those of Toby McGuire (Peter Parker / Spider-Man) and William Dafoe (Norman Osborn / The Green Goblin), but Dafoe's performances of the split-personality thing were particularly brilliant.
My favourite parts of the film were the aerial battles between Spidey and the Green Goblin:
1) above the carnival thing.
2) on the bridge.
3) at the end of the film.
There's just too much to be said about this movie... and none of it would even come close to recommending Spider-Man even half as much as it deserves. Do yourself a favour and go see it. Oh, and on your way home from the cinema, make sure you buy "Music From and Inspired By: Spider-Man" because it's equally brilliant.
The only thing better than seeing the film was when my girlfriend announced that she wanted to see it, meaning that I get to go and see it again. Ellen, you spoil me. :)
some of it is very good but i found it too long.
I think the best bit was around the beginning when he was elarning how to use his powers. The bit where he beat up the bloke in school was really good.
but id say 8/10
:D
Kirsten Dunst was fit, but Dafoe ruled with his scene talking to the mirror. He pulled it off very well don't you think?
Bad bits > Bit in school when he drags the lunch tray along with his webbing, got me thinking, you'd think anybody with half a brain would figure out who Spiderman is after that...thank god this was set in America eh? Also Green Goblin's death bit predictable and could have been more dramatic.
Best bits > Everything Else!
Excellent stuff!
