He has come on leaps and bounds since joining the Anfield revolution and fully deserves his place in the England squad. Hopefully he can take his career further from this point on by scoring a couple more on the worlds biggest stage.

HAHa me and Heskey showed you!!
Has there been any riots at the World cup though? The argies and Russians started rioting in there own yard...Not implying England will riot at the World cup, just pointing somethin out...
While I'm not saying that Englands fans are all perfect human beings, I feel it is unfair to group most of our fans in with these....thugs is probably the best word.

Yes, becasue Results have been going your way.

Yes, but they were well on thier way after losing to Japan

Again, when they were knocked out.
I'm not saying this is right though....
Yet all we hear is

I didnt imply England fans are trouble...merely implying as to what there reaction will be if they go out. I was just replying to a comment about Englands good nature. Whereas we all know England fans always riot when they go out.

Right, I'll continue to do the same...But i'll promise you I wont go with the Hur Hur Hur...

So how much did you win? :-)

I'm rapidly getting tired of this.
The England fans have been perfectly well behaved while out there. Whereas the Russians were rioting before their exit was even confirmed, and the Argies have been at it too. Yet all we hear is "England fans are trouble. Let's see what happens if they go out."
As usual, a blind eye is turned to everyone else's troublesome fans, no credit is given to those England fans over there, and the attention remains focussed on an almost morbid hope that they'll embarrass the nation once again.
There hasn't even been as much as the jeering of an opponents national anthem, and that even goes for the Argentina game.
It may have been lighthearted at first, Ortega, but it's starting to come across as a very anti-English vibe, whether you mean it that way or not, and it's likely to provoke some very strong feelings.
