Didn't like that one either.

That was okay. A couple of major errors but good speed.

Vanilla Lake 1

7:54.16
1:11.32
Choco Island 2
1:28.17
Vanilla Lake 1
1:27.93
Bowser Castle 3
2:03.93
Mario Circuit 4
2:24.05
Total Time
I've not really got onto 3 and 5 yet.
At the moment, I'm 218th around Koopa Beach, 189th around Choco Island, 181st around Vanilla Lake, 213th around Bowser Castle and 230th around Mario Circuit. All of those are out of 271 players.
It would seem my strongest one is Vanilla Lake, which is the run I hated the most.

I'd like to see these records. I couldnt find them last night.
I'm fairly confident i can beat your times if i can just get a little consistency. I know i can hit 1:57 on Bowsers castle by working out my fastest lap time but those 4 sodding barriers have a habit of all coming down at the same time just before i get to that turn.
I have no doubt that my times are beatable. The records on that page are all PAL and are on the original system (or so they claim). I don't think there would be much difference between PAL and NTSC now.
Click on the little flags for a list of times.
