Ok i dont know how well this will take off but it's worth a shot.
Every so often i'm going to be setting a retro gaming competition/league/ tournament etc for you all.

Star Cup TT Challenge
Winner - Grandprix - 7:54.16

I'm considering Street Fighter II for the next challenge. If so i've got the choice of a points challenge or an online battle using the netplay feature.
Anything i pick has to either be 2-player, points based or a time trial (i did consider Sonic but the timing isn't precise)

Excellent. I thought someone might get close in the end but they didn't.

You could try any number of games. SNES, Megadrive, Master System, Game Gear, NES, Gameboy, GBA, N64, 32X, Mega CD or Amiga. There's probably more I'm forgetting.

Gp has won the first Retro Game Challenge. Another one will be up as soon as i work out what it is.

I'll add a link into the main post in place of the other one.

Aha, i've just found an emulator that offers netplay. :D

Ah there's one i forgot. It's a shame the networking function doesn't work on this version. Online Bomberman had potential.

I got Paperboy earlier. Only have a faint memory of the game but remember liking it.

Ideas for the next challenge? I can get pretty much any game for the NES, SNES, Master System and Megadrive.

And possibly N64 although i'd have to look into it
