Okay, this is prompted by The GingerLord's topic about us not really knowing anyone else. You must tell us 5 things about yourself, little idiosyncracies, imperfections, weird stuff that we don't know. I'll go first:

1. I am unable to close Taxi doors properly. I have a thing where I always either slam it too hard and get a dodgy look from the driver, or waft it closed too softly, then I have to go back and close it properly. Taxi drivers don't like me.

2. I am also unable to put change back in my wallet properly. Whenever I finish a transaction with cash, I always stand at the front of the queue trying to put both the notes and the change in the right sections, and always hold up the next person. Either that, or I walk off holding my wallet, the notes, the change and the product I've just bought all in one hand. Mix this with a Taxi ride for optimum panic.

3. Sometimes I find smiling in a mirror for a few minutes actually does make you feel better. Even if you do look mental.

4. I eat approx. 1 bag of Prawn Cocktail crisps a day. In fact, I'm eating one now. Because I'm on my lunch, which is why I'm writing this.

5. I can't fall asleep without a cushion between my knees, or without rubbing my feet together like some insane giant grasshopper.

There you are, now you know a little more about me. Your turn.

I do that too!

I'm sure there are better things but I'll see what I can think of

1) I need to have a shower everyday. The only times I can remember when I didn't was when I went camping... every single day... even if I've woken up at 4 in afternoon and not going out I'll still need to have a shower. Which is strange as I'm not your clean loving guy... I think its something in my head that tells me a new, different day has passed.

2) I can rotate both my hands 360 degrees... I discovered this one evening at dinner, scaring my parents. It has become my weird party trick and with my Tommy Cooper Fez it goes down a treat. I was going to go on TFI Friday with it... but somebody beat me to it.

3) Over the years I hate doing things as answering phones and opening doors to sales people and such... so I haven't answered phone in ages... hate going to buy things as I get to self-conscious about people helping and looking at me and such... this has meant I haven't used my credit card yet as I hate doing things like that... I wonder if I will ever be able to access my money. Also this paranoa thing has led to me hating shoes as I think I look like a moron whatever shoes I buy... I don't like shoes.

4) I used to be fanastic... and I mean FANTASTIC at football... I was striker for East Kilbride Youth Club... although the team sucked I still scored every single goal. I scored more than a dozen hat-tricks in a season and scored 6 goals in one match (final score was 6v6). I was amazing and I could have been really good and I'm not taking pisss but I fell out with manager and lost love for it and haven't played for a team since.

5) I suffered from insomnia as a child which I blame for my messed up mind today. It's kind of gone now but being young and having sleepless nights for years was not a pleasent thing and it did mess me up a bit. My parents helped as much as they could and I tried everything... including hot milk, music and such. I ended up sleeping at other end of brother's bed as the loneliness drove me partially insane. However, this and my parents have made me into the person I like today. Deeper understanding from despair and such.

Bah that was crap... I may do another one... give me some time.

2.)I was a sessarian(or how ever you spell it).For anyone who doesnt know it means i was coming out @$$ first so they had to cut open my mum belly and yank me out.

3.)Im very thin.I can see my ribs and stuff. No matter how much i eat im always thin

4.)Im the tallest person i my family.Im even taller than my big brother(if you pardon the pun :-D) and he is 3 years older than me.Im secocnd tallest im my class. The tallest is only a few inches taller than me.

I knew a girl who used to do that... she found wearing socks in bed helped her?? ... I dunno, sign of madness, or so they say?

1. Despite the questionable quality of my recent JetPac remake, I am infact a published games developer!... I wrote a game in AMOS in the early ninties (91?) called Egg-Blasters, which I sent off to numerous P.D. outlets (popular at the time) and which was listed by two distributers in their ads at the back of Amiga Format (admittedly in athe middle of a list of 800 odd other games).

2. My first year of University, one of my housemates was a dealer, which on the up side allowed myself and friends to far more easily enjoy recreational college life, did have the side effect of getting me to the point where I would only ever speak to about four people, and that for a month or so of the year I was under the impression that there were spiders crawling over me (Although conciously I knew there wernt, I could feel them crawling up, and so would automatically brush them away)

3. My eyes turn from green to gray for no apperent reason. I always used to suspect it was connected to either my emotion of levels of stress, though I later discovered that it was just a random event (scuppering my chances of being a Marvel Super-Hero!)

4. I lost an entire year of my life last year (2001) after I became seriously ill at the end of 2000 beginning of 2001 and had to undergo a series of treatments and drugs that left me unable to work or even socialise. Although it was life threatening, it wasnt at all dramtic or enlightening, nor did I gain a new appreciation of life, it was all remarkably dull...

4. I dont have a driving license, and unless work requires, I dont intend to ever get one. Since I usually live in London the tubes get me from place to place, at all other time its far easier to get other people to drive me anywhere I need to go. (besides, once I become a multi-millionare I'll have a cheuffer to drive for me ;))

5. Although it over a year and a half since I gave up, I still REALLY miss smoking. I actually used to really enjoy having a smoke, Though I wouldnt suggest anyone else takes it up, and not that I'm ever intending to start again, despite even the cancer side of things, smoking is somthing I often regret giving up.

5 things about me:

1) I have just graduated with a honours degree from university.

2) I own a 2.8i Capri but can't drive it anymore, due to the fact that I (unfairly) lost my liscence.

3) I love watching Kung-Foo films, my favorite one is 'Iron monkey' (which is where i got my name from).

4) I can't ride motorbikes - I've crashed every single one I've been on (7 in total).

5) I spend too much time in these damn forums.

1.) I passed my 12+ (which is an IQ test to put people into grammar schools or secondary) with a top score of 141, which puts me into the top 2% of the country, or something. I thought it was cool back then. Now, I'm pretty sure it's all crap.

2.) I love scuba diving. I spend most of my money on it when I'm on holiday, and I'm seriously considering joining a club here, although British diving sucks because it's cold and visibility is rubbish. I love the feeling of being weightless, and the world underwater is far more beautiful than above. It's supposed to be a dangerous sport, but it's not dangerous, and it's not really a sport. It's just..floating. It's cool.

3.) I have many freckles :) My face is covered by them, but they're fading now. My parents both had many freckles at my age, and they faded within a year. So I'm looking forward to being freckle-free, because I don't like them. Some people disagree.

4.) I live in a thatched house. I also have a thatched well in my garden. It is funny to see my parents pacing outside in the garden on Bonfire Night to check it doesn't go up in flames.

5.) I'm odd in that I'm really into fantasy type nerd stuff i.e. Lord of the Rings, Buffy, Harry Potter and I used to collect Warhammer but I'm also quite sporty i.e I play rugby, squash and lift weights, also I don't bowl it about pretending I'm hard like MoJoMan ;)

Five things about me...

1) my earliest memory is being told that Santa Claus didn't exist while I was under my bed. I can't remember what I was doing under the bed, but I do remember hitting my head on the bed when I heard.

2) we have an elocution competition at school, well had one when I was 13-ish, and you had to read a pre-set poem from memory and a passage from a book of your choice. The poem was mundane but for the book, for a dare, I read a passage from a novel by Eric von Lustwaffe (all in the name) about a guy watching his mother training in the gym... naked and getting a little excited. It was actually funnier than it sounds. And to top it all off I actually won the elocution competition!

3) For 4 years at my first school they thought I was dyslexic mainly because I couldn't pronounce the word yellow, which I kept pronouncing as lellow. (I went on to prove them all wrong :-D)

4) I am flatfooted, which you may or may not know means I have no arch on my foot. It doesn't cause too many problems but I'll probably end up with arthritis in my knees, which does worry me because my Uncle can barely walk now after having the same problem. I'm quietly confient medical science will be able to help me by the time it sets in though...

5) I have a scar above my left eye where a little kid wacked me with a golf club on a crazy putting range. It was so painful at the time that all the pain merged into one and it stopped hurting. It took place on a holiday activity thingy after the supervisor went off to watch the Test match. And my enduring memory is of that guy taking me over to the medical room saying "I was with you at the time okay? you got that? I was there the whole time" while blood spewed out of my head. And then my Mum coming to pick me up and take me to the hospital. I was sat in the back of the car with blood still fountaining from above my eye and my mum was asking my brother and sister if they wanted to stay till the end of day or come home. They spent what seemed to be 10 minutes weighing up the proposal. It all seemed very surreal at the time, but i think I was concussed.

And bonus numer 6) is that I once met Chris Evans at the England Switzerland opening match for Euro '96. He signed my programme and I was standing in front of him when Shearer scored. He wasn't best pleased. Silly ginger man.

Ok might as well post my five, If I can think of five that is.

1. I have the ability to roll my tounge and also flip it over so the top becomes the bottom, I can also roll it this way which looks a bit freaky. Not many people I know can do it either so I feel special :-)

2. I was born with severe asthma and also a clubbed foot. These combined meant that the doctors didn't think I would be able to partake in much sport and football in particular. When I was 12 I started to play football for my school team and then when I was 16 I signed for my first amateur team. Which was a great feeling. I injured my foot last year and have just finished Physio etc so that I can try start playing again.

3. If someone in my house uses the hoover then chances are wherever I am in the house I will close my eyes and go to sleep, I don't know why but I think it is something to do with sleeping when the hoover was on as a kid.

4. I like driving, especially in rain or at night. Like Grix said before sometimes I just drive and end up in strange places. I used to cycle and do the same kind of thing but since I passed my test I ventured further a field to even stranger places.

5. I love music, all kinds, I have a very wide taste in music and listen to music a lot. I wish I could play instruments but I just don't have that ability. Music offers a lot to a lot of people, me included.

Humm...well, here we go.

1) When I was younger, I used to lick all of my pillows and bed sheets, even though I absolutely hate doing it. I hate the noise they make when you scratch them as well. So now, whenever I sleep, I put my hand in front of my mouth.

2) I'm scared of the phone. Detest phoning anyone, unless it's a close mate and only for a minute or so.

3) When I sleep, I have to rest my feet on the end of the duvet rather than the sheet, so I end up 'turning' the end of the duvet underneath the rest, if you know what I mean.

4) Things must be tidy with me. If my room's a mess I go mad.

5) I like the rain. Rain always calms me, and for some reason I always feel good when I'm nice and cosy at home, and it's a dark rainy day outside.

Well, that's the weird stuff, there's all the boring stuff about me being a Christian and liking wrestling, but I won't go into them. {:)
