Okay, this is prompted by The GingerLord's topic about us not really knowing anyone else. You must tell us 5 things about yourself, little idiosyncracies, imperfections, weird stuff that we don't know. I'll go first:

1. I am unable to close Taxi doors properly. I have a thing where I always either slam it too hard and get a dodgy look from the driver, or waft it closed too softly, then I have to go back and close it properly. Taxi drivers don't like me.

2. I am also unable to put change back in my wallet properly. Whenever I finish a transaction with cash, I always stand at the front of the queue trying to put both the notes and the change in the right sections, and always hold up the next person. Either that, or I walk off holding my wallet, the notes, the change and the product I've just bought all in one hand. Mix this with a Taxi ride for optimum panic.

3. Sometimes I find smiling in a mirror for a few minutes actually does make you feel better. Even if you do look mental.

4. I eat approx. 1 bag of Prawn Cocktail crisps a day. In fact, I'm eating one now. Because I'm on my lunch, which is why I'm writing this.

5. I can't fall asleep without a cushion between my knees, or without rubbing my feet together like some insane giant grasshopper.

There you are, now you know a little more about me. Your turn.

Yeah, I'm usually shocked into silence when I see someone leaving a tap running or something. I also hate dishwashers, not only because loading and unloading them is a pain, but the amount of water they waste is stupidly high. I'd much rather wash dishes by hand

I'm like this with my housemates. I was close to losing my rag the other day when one of them was cleaning a cup by leaving it under a running tap for 5 minutes. In the end I counted to ten, went into the kitchen and turned the tap off. I still can't believe people can be so irresponsible(sp). Even stuff like not crushing cans before putting them in the bin really gets on my nerves.

When I brush my teeth I slightly wet my toothpaste, turn the tap off and then brush my teeth before rinsing the toothbrush quickly and having a quick rinse.

I'm glad someone else is concerned about the environment cos for a while, living the number of different people I have, I thought it was just me!

hm, 5 you say? Alright, I'll give it a go.

1) I have a collection of 80's DC comics so big that it takes 14 large boxes to store them, including some stuff from the 1960s too.

2) I used to collect those little bug things that you get at tourist attractions, I still have loads of them around the house.

3) I have a strong belief that Fairies exist, though I can't prove it...yet...

4) On my wedding day (in Spain) I nearly glassed the priest when I threw my champagne glass behind me in an old Spanish custom.

5) I have increadibly fast growing hair and nails. I don't know why, but it's really annoying when I shave in the morning and look like a hairy tramp by the evening!

Yeah, so my brother keeps telling me, but they shouldn't be on in the first place. The amount of energy we've wasted because he turns them on again after I've switched them off... He just doesn't care

1. I have very bad posture. I pulled a muscle in my back last year because of it, and it stopped me playing football.

2. The highlight of my day is talking to 'someone' on MSN. She rocks.

3. I have something that Grix once said scribbled across the front page of my school planner. I have something that Belldandy wrote printed and stuck on my wall, and something Goatboy wrote in my Geography coursework.

4. I take pictures of everything with my digital camera.

5. I once managed to throw up the lining of my stomach. Dont do drugs, kids.

The power surge created when you turn a light on or off is such that it is actually better for the environment to leave lights on continuously. One small village, according to the Book of Heroic Failures, discovered this to its cost. As part of a fund-raising week and to help the environment they decided to have the electricity turned off in their village for a week. They raised some sizeable amount only to come out at a lost due to the cost of turning the stuff off and then on again, which the electricity company very thoughfully billed them for.

Hmmmm another Couple:

When i was younger i used to be seriously haunted by old black and white films. I used to hurl myself into the corner of the room whenever a piece of old footage came on the television. Funnily enough i still dont particulaly enjoy sitting through one.

Im always haunted by the fact that ive never really accelled (sp) at anything. whether it be any sort of sport from cricket to darts, or just simple hobbies like juggling. Even at school subjects im mr.Average. I mean they say you are always good at something. well im still searching for that something and sometimes it hurts to be average at everything.

But i will find that something one day. (ill stop now because its starting to sound like a cheesy film)

Some more

1.) My dad and his cousin traced our family tree as far as they could, and it's very possible that I'm related to George Washington (the first US president) That's a bit annoying, as I hate Americans and am always arguing with them about their war of independence

2.) I love atmosphere. You know when it's raining outside, and you're inside, and it just *feels* right. Then I'll stick a film with lots of atmosphere in, heh

3.) I'm obsessed with the environment. I'm not a hippy, and I don't do to protests or anything, but I'm ALWAYS complaining to my brother and sister because they constantly leave lights on. My brother puts every light in the kitchen (4 huge ones) even when it's perfectly light. My sister is nearly as bad, always leaving her TV and lights on. I'm forever running around turning stuff off, trying to save the environment. I also refuse to drive, because cars pollute (though I don't mind getting lifts, heh)
