Let's look at the evidence, shall we?
1. Sony released updated drivers for the DVD remote. Excuse me?! If UPDATING DRIVERS isn't a PC thing, then I don't know what is!
2. You can buy LINUX for your PS2. This is just beyond belief. You can buy:
Linux (for PlayStation 2) version 1.0 software
Monitor Cable Adaptor
Internal Hard Disc Drive (40 GB)
Network Adaptor (Ethernet) [10/100 Base-T]
USB Keyboard & USB Mouse (for PlayStation 2)

if you don't believe me.
Which console is nearest to a PC now, eh?
:-D

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, this could be easily worded to fit a good number of Ninties around here when it comes to the X-Box and PS2.
;-)

Considering its built to "play games", theres next to sod all worth getting on it until mid next year.

MGS2 anyone?
And anyway, I thought graphics didn't matter to you Ninties. {:)
I did a project at uni comparing the XBox and PS2 and each have their own good and bad points but if you want to argue with each other over this then the XBox is the one more PC'ish. But it ain't just a PC in a box.
I think it was PB who went on about "The army of free gamers" I suggest you take note and don't be biased towards one console otherwise you are going to miss out on a lot of great games.
I'd love to see a game on PS2 that has better graphics than Rogue Leader or Resident Evil. So far all i've seen is GTA3 with it's ugly blocky graphics and so much pop up it's embarrassing. Oh and ISS which looked more like an N64 game, infact the best looking game i've seen on the PS2 was Fifa 2002 which was nothing to wet your pants over.

Yes it can do that from day 1, but it didn't as Metroid Prime and starfox Adventures smashed anything else.
Resident Evil has hte best graphics seen anywhere, yes they are pre-rendered and all polygons are used on the characters but it looks better than X-box or PS2 game.
Ha.
Although this is a gaming element.
Goddammit don't shoot me.
So there we go.
:-D
"No more jaggies!" they said. A year and a half on...
:'(

lol... the Amiga wasnt a console! :)
