Yes, but they didn't and we weren't!
Coulda, woulda, shoulda... didn't. Not so much us being lucky, as them being crap in front of goal, surely? We also had numerous excellent chances that went begging.
They only have themselves to blame. But for hacking Owen in the area, they'd have got a draw. Their dirty tactics came back to bite them in the butt this time!

Just a shame he chose to play for a sham of a team who claim to be English but are really French in disguise.
Once again, Great performance by the lads.

Yes.
I apologise for my OTT reaction. Still highly charged at the moment. :-)
I have to admit we were quite lucky to win really.
When you think about it, Argentina wasted LOADS of great chances infront of goal! If they'd have had the time and taken them properly then we could've been on the wrong side of a 5-0 scoreline!
But i'm glad we won, and it was a good performance all round - especially from Trevor Sinclair!
And it finally looks like he got it right by playing the 4-4-2 with Nicky Butt, like I said *COUGH*!
Shame to see Hargreaves get injured though, he could be crucial if we do not loose to Nigeria. And Owen didn't dive for anyone who thinks otherwise - well struck penalty though!

They were all equally good, because the Argies didn't get past any of them! :-)

Did you not see the bit where it said Cole was brilliant.
I was simply saying that on another day he and Batitstuta could have been sent off.
One of the best performances i have ever seen!
Now we'll get all the doomsayers after Sweden repenting!
