Well, it wasn't the way many of us expected this match to turn out like. We thought France would win 4 or 5 - 0, but no, it didn't happen like that.

In case you didn't see the goal, it was Fabien Barthez (who else) that made a mistake.

He fumbled the ball and it fell right to a Senegal player in front of an open goal.

Fool!

Discuss (not the mistake, just the match in general).

I know I thought it was a bit strange. I don't care I watched it at home as I didn't have any exams today.

Same as Riise, I wanted to leave it for someone else to pick up on. Besides, they would have put it better than me.

I noticed but couldn't be bothered to say as I thought it might say the scorer or action involved.

I am suprised that only one person picked up on AfroJoe's mistake of making the spoiler the actual goal rather than the score.

Diouf put the ball across, Petit tried to clear it, bounced of Barthez's leg then hand and landed at the feet of Bouba Diop.
