"Eminem - The Eminem Show."

Bought this album today, only had chance to listen through it once so far, and it's.... different.

Different from the first two albums, definately. The single, "Without Me", is definately the most commercial track on the album.

A couple of the tracks wouln't have sounded out of place on The Marshall Mathers LP, with him being dark and having a rant. A couple of tracks made me laugh in places, but it's not as funny as The Slim Shady LP.

It needs another listen, I think, but then all the best stuff does take a couple of listens to get into. Should be a definate buy for Eminem fans, but if you've only heard "Without Me", I'd recommend you listen to some other tracks before buying the album, as you may be a bit surprised with some of the other tracks...

It's actually a damn good album, and when you finally give it a good listening to, the language doesn't get in the way (not that it bothers me anyway).

His lyrics are spot-on (as always) and the beats are brilliant (check out Business, Square Dance and Say What You Say for example).

I do have to admit though, that the comedic style of his first album was better, those songs amused me while still having a plot to them.

Although a (slightly) different Em sound, It's still a great album, and now one of my favourites (hasn't left my car CD player since i got it).

An eminem fan will like it, a true Eminem fan will love it.

Got it today, only really bought it for the bonus DVD...which is nice.

I think the actual album is alright, I still prefer the marshall mathers LP though...

Tom Green's a funny dude though.

Saw part of his MTV show on Tarrant on TV the other week, where he got the bonnet of his parents car painted with the 'pussymobile' artwork.

Boy are his parents ungrateful! :-)

I've listnened all the way through a good 10 or 12 times now, and it rocks.

Ignore the swearing, listen to the lyrics. Top stuff.

Got it through today, listening to it at the moment.

Brilliant stuff so far.

I'll probably end up aquireing (wrong spelling, i know) it, becuase at least one of my mates will buy it.

I liked the slower, angrier tracks on SSLP, but the MMLP got by on being controversial. Way I Am is pretty good though.

Was Marshall Mather his last album? if so it was pants. Slim Shady LP was much better and so was Slim Shady EP. If you wanna hear good Eminem don't buy his latest more commercial crap try getting an album like F**kin crazy or the Slim Shady Ep they're sooooooooo much better.

I bought it today (I didn't even know it was out until I walked in HMV) anyway I'm just listening to it now, so far it does seem different, I quite like Business after the first listen.

I'll listen through the lot now and I'll see what I think in the morning.

(I don't think he will ever top the MM LP though).
