"Favourite Childhood Game"

This is for the older people in the world, who played the early games when 3d didn't exist (or were just beginning to surface).

So what was your favourite game?

I remember playing Jill of the Jungle, Commander Keen, Duke Nukem 1 and 2, Wolfenstein 3d, Doom, Chuckie Egg on the Spectrum. I also played loads of other platformers one was called Dark Ages I think, and you can't forget Prince of Persia.

Shareware was great wasn't it? Wolfenstein was my favourite anyway.

Harrier Attack or Roland in the Caves on the Amstrad CPC 464
or maybe Stryker's Run or Elite on my next-door neighbour's BBC

Rainbow Islands on the Amiga. First game I liked and completed. It was great.

Leisure Suit Larry and Police Quest

Bionic commando, the dizzy collection games, bomb jack, There are so many to name I'll need to think about it a bit more.

i used to love Super Mario Bros on the NES. Also rather likes duck hunt and solstice.

Pirates on my C64 ruled my world. Got me into strategy games about the age of 8 years old. I've pushed for world dominance every day since.

ah the dizzy games. desert island dizzy was the best. bubble dizzy was the biggest flop out of them all

Ah, yes, all Mario games back then were great too.
