Just saw episode 2 and I loved it. Not as much as the first three films however, but it was far better than the first 'reasonable' attempt in episode 1. It was great seeing things that I remember in the original films such as, a young bobba fett and the slave 1 ship, Luke Skywalkers future home and foster parents and not forgetting the stormtroopers as well as early looking AT-ATs and star destroyers to accompany them.

It was great seeing all these things again, especially sinse they where missed from episode 1.

Anyway, after I finished watching the film, I was wondering 'what will be in the next, final episode?' and so I came up with this thread.

Basically put down what you are hoping for in episode 3, be it things you remember and want to see again, or things you want to see changed. You can also put down what you 'think' will be in the next film.

I'll start. Seeing as episode 2 has stormtroopers and star destroyers, I think it would be great if X-wings and Y-wings make an appearance in the next film. None of these new episode ships like the naboo starfighter look as good as the original ships. They have nice chrome effects, but they just didn't have the same appeal as the good old x-wing or b-wing fighters.

Well that’s one thing I would love to see in the next episode, but what about you? What do you want to see?

Wasn't it Emperor (or the future emperor) Palpatine, who masqueraded as the mentioned Jedi Knight? I think it was, although if it wasn't revealed this time, it may be revealed in Episode 3.

I think that in the next film Mace Windu will be killed by Bobba Fett out of revenge for killing his father, We'll see the formation of the empire and rebel alliance, We'll hopefully see ships like the y-wing and a-wing ect. And it'll probably end with a huge space battle between the republic and the newly formed empire. I think episode 3 is going to be the best.

Maybe I missed it in Episode 2, but I'd like to know who placed the order for the clone army in the first place. They said it was a Jedi, only he was supposed to be dead. I'd like that question answering.

I'd like to see Dooku turn back to theside of good, but Anakin to kill him anyway, showing his nasty side.

I'd like to see an explanation as to why Beru had a 'tache.

We'll see Obi-Wan taking on Anakin, and nearly destroying him, but will we see Anakin become Vader? Maybe that should be left until when we saw him for the first time in Episode 4...?

I don't want to see Natalie Portman all pregnant, asking Jimmy Smitts to take one of her babies, that would be a dull scene, yet I fear 'tis inevitable.

I thought tha massive ground battle on episode 2 was amazing. I think if lucas can do something like that on the ground, then he can do something equally as impressive in space. And who's Fisto? I can't seem to remember.

Did old Fisto survive Episode 2? If so, then we probably get to see him die in Ep 3

Even his Stryke style smug look can't save him now!

Three battle between Obi-Wan, Mace and Anakin. Mace sacrifices himself so Obi-Wan can finish Anakin. And Kit Fisto turns up. For the hell of it.

Yeah, I hate shoddy CGI. The ships looked good, and so did the droids, but Yoda just didn't look real

Anyway, as for Ep 3

In Star Wars Ep 4, they say X-Wings are almost brand new, so I doubt we'll see them, but they say Y-Wings are really old so hopefully they'll make an appearence. Also, I'd like to see LOADS of lightsabre battles, spread throughout the film, not just at the end like in Ep 1 and 2. Some battles will be aerial, with flips and stuff, others could be more "old school" (ie Vader/Luke) That would rule

One thing I'd really like to see in episode 3 is a really big space battle, like the giant ground battle of episode 2. Infact I can't understand why there hasn't already been a big fight in space. Episode 1 did have a small bunch of naboo fighters blowing up a few droid ships up and episode 2 had a short but well made chase between obi wan and jango fett.

Still these battles were naff compared to the massive fight at the end of return of the jedi. Hopefully this is something that'll be included in the final film, I think it would be criminal not to. Well the film is called star wars after all.

I thought the special effects where ace, but i think they where used for too much. It looked as if the only things that weren't computer animated where the actors. Still the effects weren't cheap looking, except yoda, who looked naff.
