Are any of you able to still use Freeola's E-mail system, or FTP to any other Site you may have??

I can't seem to FTP to freeserve anymore, or Send my E-mails from Any account, be it Freeola, Freeserve.

Any settings you know of that I need to change?????

Maybe it's an Outlook Express problem, rather than your setup? Have you tried using a different email client as a test?

Oh, I know how Freeola works, no worries there. Its more about Freeserve really. I used to be able to FTP to them from any account, such as Freeola or even at college, but now I can't.

Any ideas???

Also, when I try and send and receive E-mail using the Pipex address (in Outlook Express), I get the box up asking for my ID and password, and keep getting this over and over, no matter that my ID and password are correct, any ideas?? I've got the POP and SMTP set up ok too

With freeola, you have to use their dial-up service to FTP to any site they might host for you. You can download emails from their mailserver with Pipex, but to send them you'll have to connect via dial-up again.

Annoying, I know, but that's why Freeola are introducing a paid-for hosting service. ;~)

I can recieve e-mail from my BT account but not send from it, so I use my pipex e-mail address to send from. As for FTP, I've only tried FTPing to domains I've bought through other companies, but will Freeserve let you upload from anyone else?
